Terms of Service

Dream Home has been helping first-time homebuyers envision their ideal future since 2016, by cataloging floor plan wishlists before you commit to a builder. These Terms of Service are designed to protect your aspirations and our shared journey. We want you to feel confident that your dream home plan is built on a foundation of clarity and fairness. The following sections explain how disputes are resolved, which laws govern your use of the platform, and how we may update these terms over time.

Governing Law & Venue
Your use of Dream Home is governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which you reside. By using our platform, you agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of these terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in the state of your primary residence. We believe in meeting you where you are, literally and legally. This ensures that you are never forced to travel far to protect your rights. If you are a first-time homebuyer planning your ideal home, you can rest assured that local laws will apply to your relationship with Dream Home.

  • All disputes will be resolved under the laws of your home state.
  • Any lawsuit must be filed in the county where you live.
  • Dream Home will not require you to arbitrate in a faraway location.

Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to reach out to our support team before initiating any formal dispute. Most issues can be resolved quickly through our Contact Us page. If a dispute cannot be settled informally, both parties agree to first attempt mediation in your home state. Should mediation fail, any unresolved claims will be settled by binding arbitration, conducted by a neutral arbitrator in your home county. This process is designed to be faster and less expensive than court litigation. Arbitration fees will be shared equally, unless the arbitrator determines otherwise. You may also bring claims on an individual basis only—no class actions or representative proceedings are permitted.

  1. First, contact us directly via the Contact Us page.
  2. If unresolved, we will mediate in your home state.
  3. If mediation fails, binding arbitration in your home county.
  4. All disputes are resolved individually, not as a class.

Modifications to These Terms
As Dream Home grows and evolves to better serve your future home vision, we may need to update these Terms of Service. We will always notify you of material changes by email or through a prominent notice on our platform at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of Dream Home after the effective date of a modification means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree with a change, you may stop using the service and delete your account. We promise never to make retroactive changes that reduce your rights without your explicit consent.

Your Dream Home Journey
These terms are here to protect your dream—not to complicate it. We want you to focus on designing your perfect floor plan, not worrying about legal fine print. By using Dream Home, you agree to these terms as a partner in your home-building journey. For any questions, please visit our Contact Us page.
