Major enhancements are coming soon to a popular sports bar in Philadelphia.

Comcast Spectacor and The Cordish Companies announced on Tuesday plans for Xfinity Live! in South Philadelphia to undergo a $12 million renovation.

The upgrades include, enhancing Xfinity Live!’s outdoor plaza for game days, festivals and community events, as well as improvements to the interior and exterior.

Broadway Central Market to undergo renovation

SAN ANTONIO – Broadway’s Central Market is set to undergo a significant renovation, expected to modernize and refresh the store.

The company expects to complete the work in two phases. The plans include a façade refresh, parking lot improvements and a complete interior remodel.

The grocer has operated under the Central Market moniker since 1999; before the store was first opened as an HEB in 1951.

In a Tuesday news release, HEB said that specific details are still being developed as plans still need approval by the City of Alamo Heights.

Royal Ontario Museum renovation begins soon

The Royal Ontario Museum announced Wednesday that it plans to undertake a “sweeping architectural transformation” of its main floor as part of a three-year construction project that will begin early this year.

In a news release, the museum said the “OpenROM” project, will “dramatically” open the museum up to the public and add 6,000 square feet of new gallery space on the second and third levels.

The renovation will include a redesigned Bloor Street entrance that the museum says “will deepen the ROM’s connection to the city.”

The DC Interior Design Tour Kicks Off This Weekend

Looking for home design inspiration? The DC Incredible Interiors Tour, a one-day event showcasing some of the top interior design firms throughout the DC region, is for you. The self-guided tour takes place April 6 from 10 AM to 4 PM at homes in Georgetown, Alexandria, Hyattsville and Kent. At each stop, designers will be on hand to discuss their work.

The tour is sponsored by the Modern Architecture and Design Society and Gray Media. The participating firms include DIH Designs, Lisa & Leroy, EL Studio, Inner Loop Design, and a special presentation by list Modern of the Four Pavilions
